Dazed in Architecture

To the untrained eye, Bucharest may seem unruly and incomprehensible. But we like to call it eclectic and, anyway, chaos breeds creativity, right? We will help you make sense of 19th & 20th century urbanist ambitions that invaded the original oriental structure of the city. We’ll stop for a quick local wine or craft beer tasting (the choice is yours) and some nibbles, to make things more confusing or more beautiful. You will discover the modernist and art-deco treasures of the city, as well as the intact pre-war Armenian neighbourhood. We’ll end the tour with a traditional platter and another round of craft beer or wine tasting to make sure we leave you on the right path.

A day to remember! On a day of adversity such as this there is the opportunity for host to show their quality. We had torrential rain all afternoon but had a fabulous time. Mircea my host was top notch, informative, interesting and willing to go the extra mile. What was also good was that we had numerous stops to dry off in bars/cafes/restaurants and you get a real feel for the city away from the tourist spots, discovering a completely new and surprising Bucharest. All in all I couldn't praise the experience and the host enough.
